The Cake Maternity Story

Cake was born out of our founder, Tracey Montford’s own personal struggle during her pregnancy journey. In her search for comfortable, functional and stylish maternity and nursing wear, it appeared hitting all three was the trifecta that didn’t exist. Suddenly in this new role, she was being forced into this one-size-fits-all mould of how a mother should look—and it wasn’t pretty. She wanted more and realised that if she felt this way, so must many other women across the world.

This became her driving force to create beautiful, high quality, functional and comfortable pieces inspired by her own experiences designed to support mamas on their breastfeeding journey. Bras that truly enhance the lives of women every day, allowing them to fully embrace motherhood & all that it brings to the table. 

To this day, Tracey has that same passion and vision driving her, encouraging women to breastfeed for as long as possible in a supported & educated community.

I am a size 34G and purchased this in a medium. It fits well but for me is a bit low cut. Very good for sleeping in - very comfortable. I would recommend this top for sleep ware.

Love it! I owned the purple version of this tank two years ago when my second child was born and practically lived it in for the first few months and then it was one of the only tanks I wore to sleep in. Mainly because it was so comfortable and soft! The purple one is way worn out so when I ordered this chocolate one as a replacement and couldn't be happier. Its a size XL and I have size 40E breasts US sizing. very comfortable and accommodates my growing belly 30wks pregnant with 3rd child.

I highly recommend this camisole!!! I have the choc vanilla and blueberry CAMISOLES. They are well made of a very soft material. I used them while in the hospital and during my postpartum period while breastfeeding. The ruffles and design are very sensual and made me feel pretty! Easily accessible clips for breastfeeding and supportive. I ordered a large size due to my cup 36-38 DD and it fits comfortably, could possibly have ordered a medium. These are a MUST have for any for breastfeeding Moms!!!
