When you’re a breastfeeding mama the last thing you want to do is fumble around with layers of bras and tops. That’s where Marshmallow comes in. This ribbed nursing tank features a hidden internal shelf and underband for all the support you’d expect from our wire-free bras, with the added coverage of a tank.

We’ve ditched the obvious nursing clips and replaces them with stylish press stud closures, so you can wear this tank out and about without looking like you’re wearing a nursing garment. Perfect for outerwear, loungewear, sleepwear or even light-moderate activity activewear.

The Cake Maternity Story

Cake was born out of our founder, Tracey Montford’s own personal struggle during her pregnancy journey. In her search for comfortable, functional and stylish maternity and nursing wear, it appeared hitting all three was the trifecta that didn’t exist. Suddenly in this new role, she was being forced into this one-size-fits-all mould of how a mother should look—and it wasn’t pretty. She wanted more and realised that if she felt this way, so must many other women across the world.

This became her driving force to create beautiful, high quality, functional and comfortable pieces inspired by her own experiences designed to support mamas on their breastfeeding journey. Bras that truly enhance the lives of women every day, allowing them to fully embrace motherhood & all that it brings to the table. 

To this day, Tracey has that same passion and vision driving her, encouraging women to breastfeed for as long as possible in a supported & educated community.

Comfy and stylish

I read the reviews and ordered the busty size based off of people saying it ran to small. It did not run too small for me. The busty was too big. I am a 34E. I had to return the busty size and I am going to order again in a Medium Petite. I think it will fit perfect.

Not the best design for nursing

I love that this tank has built in padding but the buttons are unrealistic for getting a busty breast out to nurse. This could definitely be improved with nursing clips added. The ribbed material gives a nice shape and is comfortable but I found the overall fit to be a bit small.

Runs small

This tank is adorable and I was really excited to get it, however it was way too small on me. Iu2019ll be reordering two sizes larger so that it is comfortable.

Great top

Love this top. Now have 3! I hate fiddling around with nursing bra clips, nursing pads and extra layers to cover my stomach when feeding in public. This top solves everything for me. Itu2019s super comfortable with easy pull aside cups, no need to wear additional vest top and gives good amount of support for me. Actually find built in cups to be reasonably absorbent too meaning I donu2019t need to bother with additional breast pads.
