At Cake, our backend handling of your order is automated, which enables us to process it within a few hours of receipt.
Unfortunately our efficiency does have a disadvantage. We're not able to make any changes, including amendments (pricing & shipping changes included) & cancellations, due to the involvement of 3rd parties too. Once your product has have arrived though, you're more than welcome to initiate a return or place a re-order, should that be required.
We ask for your understanding in the matter & trust any possible issue that can happen post purchase, will be far outweighed by our expedient handling of your order.
Whilst your order is shipped from our warehouse in Rotterdam, NL, top up stock does get shipped from our warehouse in Sydney, Australia. Due to this, orders can take 9 to 13 days to be delivered. To enhance sustainability, we sometimes combine orders for bulk shipments. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we work to reduce our carbon footprint and provide you with high-quality products.
Certainly! You will receive an email confirming that your order has been shipped once it leaves our European warehouse. Tracking details will be provided for its journey to your doorstep within Europe.
Yes! Soon after you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email that contains your order receipt & acceptance of payment. You’ll also receive another email to advise about the dispatch of your order.
There are no duties or additional shipping charges for deliveries to European Union countries.
It’s up to you. A signature can be requested as an added security measure to ensure your product is correctly delivered, although if necessary you can opt out and instead provide specific delivery instructions at the time of checkout.
We recommend a work/office delivery address should you be away during the day (9.00am – 5.00pm), when most deliveries are undertaken. Please also enter a physical address as deliveries to PO Box addresses cannot be made.
The charges associated for a shipment to be returned by our freight partner is approximately three times the cost of the original freight.
The original order value will be reduced by €25 and refunded within 7-10 days.
Should you no longer require the product, we recommend accepting delivery and simply organising a Return (to our UK warehouse) via our Returns page. This will be more efficient & economical for both parties.
Taking care of Mother Nature is something we’re very passionate about, and something that as a business we’re striving more than ever to do. Whenever you receive an item from us, rest assured that we’ve considered the environmental impact and have worked to eliminate all unnecessary waste.
At this point in time, everything you receive from us is 100% recyclable and plastic-free, from our swing tags to the stickers we use. Our mailer boxes are constructed from 100% recycled materials, using water-based glues and vegetable-based ink, from print to pack they’ve been carefully crafted in a factory running entirely on solar power. Our tissue paper is again recyclable, acid-free, printed with soy-based inks and is made from FSC certified materials. To seal it all up, we use water activated gummed paper tape that’s both recyclable and biodegradable.
Our swing tags are made from post consumer recycled card, using eco-friendly soy-inks and are 100% recyclable. The string is a natural blend which can also be recycled.
All that we ask is that you dispose of us responsibly, so please make sure that you recycle all of the mailing items correctly according to your local council.
