Cotton-lined microfibre cups and an A-frame sling provide much needed comfort, while the easy-feed drop down cups and single handed nursing clips make breastfeeding a breeze. With 6 spaced out hook & eye options and a stretchy lace top cup, Taffy will grow with mamas during pregnancy and accommodate their fluctuations while nursing.

The Cake Maternity Story

Cake was born out of our founder, Tracey Montford’s own personal struggle during her pregnancy journey. In her search for comfortable, functional and stylish maternity and nursing wear, it appeared hitting all three was the trifecta that didn’t exist. Suddenly in this new role, she was being forced into this one-size-fits-all mould of how a mother should look—and it wasn’t pretty. She wanted more and realised that if she felt this way, so must many other women across the world.

This became her driving force to create beautiful, high quality, functional and comfortable pieces inspired by her own experiences designed to support mamas on their breastfeeding journey. Bras that truly enhance the lives of women every day, allowing them to fully embrace motherhood & all that it brings to the table. 

To this day, Tracey has that same passion and vision driving her, encouraging women to breastfeed for as long as possible in a supported & educated community.

I was worried about what I was going to use for a nursing bra being a busty 40J and still growing during my pregnancy but then I found Cake Maternity and was so relieved to find something in my size. Granted, I sized up and they still fit great! They super comfy and exactly what I needed going into my third trimester!

So supportive and flattering

It really supports well and is extremely well made! It lifts and separates without overdoing it (I have a slightly odd shape and my chest is wide, but my breasts are in the middle, so many bras have too wide of a middle and push my boobs into my underarms and I hate that. This bra does NOT and it's AWESOME). It gives a low key but sexy amount of cleavage while still looking natural and flatters in all the best ways. I do find myself adjusting the band quite a bit; if I keep it a little lower then my back is nice and smooth, if it rides up a little too high it digs in just a bit, but I also feel like this is the type of bra that will just fit even better the more I wear it. Also, can we talk about how cute the lace and color are?? I'm so happy I was able to find actual CUTE bras in my much larger pregnancy size (especially since I can barely find cute bras in my normal size lol)
